Habitat for Humanity, Riverside, a non-profit corporation, is one of the 1,640 affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International. Their goal is to provide home ownership for first time homebuyers made up of working, low-income families in need, and to build affordable houses for families who qualify for their no-interest loan program. HFHR efforts are supported by their building hardware discount facility- ReStore. The proceeds from the Restore support administrative costs, allowing them to use over 90% of the donations to build affordable houses.
