
Documentation Specialist/Note Department Assistant

Summary:
Performs a variety of centralized services pertaining to the boarding and servicing of commercial, construction, real estate and consumer loans. Ensures daily activities adhere to applicable policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare loan documents for commercial, installment, real estate, construction and consumer.
- Performs daily callback on item processing and boarding.
- Ensures all closed loans are processed and collateral is released in a timely manner and files are boxed and forwarded to storage annually.
- Process all decline notifications.
- Maintains monthly closed/new loans report.
- Prepare monthly New/Paid/Decline board reports.
- Set up new ticklers for loans.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects the banks operations by keeping information confidential
as specified in the ethics policy of the bank.
- Respond promptly and effectively to daily telephone inquiries.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent and four (4) years experience in loan processing using Laser Pro.
- Familiarity with Jack Henry System.
- Computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office products and data entry abilities.
- Must possess a high level of analytical, organizational, teamwork and communication skills and maintain complete and accurate records.
- Critical level of attention to detail.
- Establish and maintain effective working relations with others.
